Only recycled gold, ethically sourced diamonds and other gemstones, rings made and set by hand in a Parisian workshop... In short, the highest level of expertise for high-quality jewelry. Why choose ethical jewelry?

You may not have realized it yet, but the jewelry industry, just like the fashion or technology industries, has a real impaFocus on the environment. The methods used to extract metals and precious stones for making our jewelry often involve toxic and harmful chemical processes, using mercury or cyanide, and require a significant amount of water. Additionally, the rights of workers in these extraction activities are often neglected. These methods do not align with the symbols of love and commitment that jewelry represents.

Currently, it is estimated that 99% of diamonds lack traceability and therefore cannot be certified as ethical. OR DU MONDE has taken a stand against this reality by becoming the first ethical and transparent jewelry brand, guaranteeing the eco-responsible origin and human rights-respectful sourcing of all its materials and stones.

In doing so, OR DU MONDE has recycled over 275 kilograms of gold, with zero environmental impact, unlike traditional extraction which would have required substantial resources, totaling over 550,000 tons of ore, 190 million liters of water, 1100 kilograms of mercury, and 16,000 tons of cyanide. The brand has also significantly reduced its carbon emissions by opting for 100% metal recycling.


A Family-Built Expertise

Founded by a family, the brand...In 2013, Christian, Hélène, Sacha, and Margot, four jewelry lovers from the same family, OR DU MONDE highlights French jewelry craftsmanship. The artisans in the Parisian workshop are more than just craftsmen, they are true artists. Since the brand's creation a decade ago, they have conceived over 500 pieces of jewelry of all kinds.
