This is the second address in France after the capital, where the Japanese brand showcases a top-notch partnership with Maison MAIER – an exceptional watchmaker – to offer us a premium experience and direct access to the collections, including the most exclusive and limited models. An urban and trendy showcase for fans of modern watchmaking
Located between Bellecour and the Jacobins on rue Gasparin, the brand new G-SHOCK store by CASIO has opened its doors this June. A 35 m² space filled with concrete and brushed aluminum for a fully embraced minimalism. The décor and design subtly evoke the robustness and modernity of the brand, which has been evolving since its creation in 1983.
On site, you'll find new items like rare limited edition pieces, as well as iconic G-SHOCK and CASIO Vintage watches. In short, it's a true haven for all watch enthusiasts in the spirit of the Land of the Rising Sun, and there's even a Premium space showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the artisans from Yamagata, the Japanese home of high-end CASIO watches.
Dancers and goodies: G-SHOCK electrifies the streets of Lyon
To celebrate this new opening in the heart of the capital of Gaul, G-SHOCK and MAIER are thinking big and have a bunch of surprises in store for us. First up, there's an “Instant Winning” booth – available in-store until June 30 – where every Lyonnais can try their luck and win a G-SHOCK goodie (watch, ring, keychain, fanny pack, collector t-shirt, collector book…). Because yes, G-SHOCK and CASIO are coming to visit you in some iconic places in Lyon, from the City Hall to Bellecour, for this final grand opening weekend. This Saturday, dancers – recognizable by their G-SHOCK STORE Lyon t-shirts and their stylish watches on their wrists – will be showcasing some absolutely crazy performances. In between acts, a host will be launching live mini quizzes to offer you quick challenges where you can grab those famous vouchers for a chance to win a lovely gift at the store kiosk.
