We love our pets just like family members. But when it comes to finding an emergency vet or a trusted groomer, it can often be a nightmare. That's where Doctopet comes in, the Lyon-based platform that connects pet owners with professionals in the field. This idea was born from a very stressful experience encountered by its founder, Sasha Bird.
Like Doctolib, but for pets
"Last September, my dog had a serious eye problem, but our vet was on holiday. It was impossible to find someone to contact quickly", explains the emlyon student in remarks relayed by Tout Lyon. This moment of panic was the catalyst. Doctopet is born with a clear mission: to simplify access to pet care and services.
Available for free to pet owners, the platform allows you to find a nearby professional with just a few clicks. Even better: a special emergency button and a virtual assistant available 24/7 will clear up any doubts. The professionals benefit too! With stock management, accounting, and appointment scheduling, veterinarians spend up to 50 hours a month on administrative tasks.
A subscription starting at €19.99 per month for veterinarians
Doctopet automates all of this, allowing them to refocus on their core business. The subscription, ranging from €19.99 to €59.49 per month depending on the services, includes a clever feature: automatic ordering as soon as medication stocks hit a critical level. A precious time saver for practitioners.
With a launch planned in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Doctopet aims for 150 partner professionals and a revenue of 100,000 euros within a year. And great news: the mobile app is about to arrive! A revolution for everyone who wants the best for their furry friends, without stress or wasted time.
