Every year in Lyon, the Festival of Wisteria celebrates the beautiful flowering season of these magnificent trees. You can find nearly 400 gathered over an area of 200 hectares in the Montchat neighborhood in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. Throughout the month of April, the Festival of Wisteria is the perfect opportunity to discover this incredible spectacle of nature that is still too unknown to the people of Lyon.

Because in spring, the wisteria puts on a stunning colorful show swinging between purple, blue, and white with "clusters" that can reach over a meter in length. It's a wonderfully poetic plant that immerses us in a Japanese-style setting we wouldn't expect to find right in the heart of Lyon!
