She missed everyone in 2024. This year, the Lake Festival in Annecy is back in style and with exciting thrills on Saturday, August 2, 2025, featuring a completely unique show. And we’re not just talking about fireworks but the largest pyrotechnic and aquatic spectacle in Europe. That's right! The event, which gathers tens of thousands of spectators by the lake every year, offers a 2025 edition themed around poetry, with a celestial and enchanting theme: Ode to the Moon.
A breathtaking 70-minute show on the lake
Conceived by the French company Arteventia (also behind last year's July 14 fireworks in Annecy), this new show promises a total immersion in a magical universe. For 70 minutes, the lake will transform into the stage for an explosive and dreamlike ballet in six acts, featuring 20 pyrotechnicians, 124 points...of shooting stars, water jets, lasers, floating Luminéoles, and a clever mix of sounds, lights, and emotions. And to guide you through this waking dream, a familiar voice: that of Benoît Allemane (the French voice of Morgan Freeman, no less), who will embody the Lake itself. Yes, the Lake speaks. And it speaks to the Moon.
