Shopping under the enigmatic gaze of the Mona Lisa? It will soon be a reality in Lyon! From May 5 to May 10, 2025, the Westfield Lyon Part-Dieu shopping center will host an extraordinary exhibition: "I Live at the Louvre", a unique initiative led by the Louvre Museum and the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield group.

Goal? To bring art out of museums and directly to the masses. Instead of just waiting for visitors between its historic walls, the Louvre is sending its greatest masterpieces on a journey across France. After stops in Rosny-sous-Bois, Dijon, Paris, Rennes, and Lille, the exhibition will make a noteworthy halt in Lyon.

While some might shout sacrilege at the sight of Leonardo da Vinci alongside fast fashion brands, others will applaud this bold initiative. Why should art be confined to museums? With this exhibition, the Louvre is paving the way for cultural democratization, proving that beauty can be found everywhere… even between a sneaker store and a food court.
