From March 27 to 29, Hall 3 of Eurexpo Lyon is transforming into a true showcase of the agricultural world. This is a first for the Lyon Fair, partnering with Semons l’Avenir to create a space entirely dedicated to the farming professions. The goal? To reconnect the general public with the people who feed our communities and to shed light on the food challenges of today and tomorrow.
Throughout the journey, visitors can directly engage with passionate breeders and producers. Cows, calves, sheep, goats, and pigs will be there, along with some impressive agricultural machinery. Tractors, combine harvesters, and market gardening tools will boldly showcase themselves, offering an authentic dive into the daily life of the sector. A fun and immersive experience
The mini fair is all about interactivity, making it appealing for both young and old. Milking parlor, milk fountain, tractor driving simulator, and even virtual reality tours… here, it’s not just about .look, we're in it together. Culinary workshops and tastings complete the experience, while educational activities make everything accessible and fun. Even fruit and vegetable sculptures find their place, proving that agriculture can also be creative.
You can't talk about agriculture without including a tasting experience. So naturally, a market featuring local producers extends the visit to delight your taste buds. Cheeses, meats, fruits, honeys, craft beers, and wines from Beaujolais or the Coteaux du Lyonnais invite themselves along the pathways. Perfect for filling your basket... and leaving with a little bit of local flavor in hand. Between the dining area and the refreshment stand, this event checks all the boxes for a delicious outing.
