This is the kind of announcement that electrifies live music enthusiasts. Fiducial, the giant consulting and services firm from Lyon, is teaming up with ThrillStage to launch the Fiducial Astéria, a brand new performance venue right on the doorstep of Lyon, literally next door to the LDLC Arena. With a futuristic name and solid ambitions, this new cultural gem promises to shake up Grand Lyon with a lineup that is as eclectic as it is exciting.

A capacity that can reach 3,500 seats

Behind this naming operation is a commitment for five years – until the end of 2029 – confirming one thing: Lyon is definitely ready to join the ranks of major cultural metropolitan centers in Europe. With a flexible capacity ranging from 1,500 to 3,500 seats, the Fiducial Astéria is designed to be agile and accessible, set to welcome both a rising star and...a big machine on tour. The promise? An unprecedented closeness between the stage and the audience, designed to spark that little magical spark we all seek in a concert hall.

A packed line-up already for 2026

And let's just say that the first wave of announcements sets the tone perfectly. Starting in January 2026, Kompromat will kick things off with their delightfully dark electro, followed by the highly anticipated Ofenbach, a duo of DJs known for their large stage performances, and then the theatrical metal group Avatar. A thrilling ramp-up that is expected to continue at a good pace, as the venue hopes to host between 50 and 70 events each year.

For Fiducial, it’s not just about slapping their name on a shiny new wall. It’s a love letter to living culture, a gesture to “uncover rising stars as well as big names,” as Eric Luc, the group's communication director, puts it. In a neighborhood already undergoing a transformation, between Décines and OL Vallée, this new venue could very well become a hub for the curious, fans, and enlightened party-goers. In short, it's a spot to keep a close eye on.
