After lighting up the Parc de la Tête d'Or during the Festival of Lights 2025, another drone show is set to take flight over Lyon. Imagine a string quartet playing Debussy, Vivaldi, or Tchaikovsky, while hundreds of drones light up the sky, creating flowers, stars, or swans in sync with the music. DroneArt Show returns on May 15 and 16, 2026, at the Hippodrome de Parilly, after dazzling audiences in Los Angeles, Miami, and Madrid. It’s the perfect spot, away from light pollution, where every movement of light becomes truly spectacular.
A hybrid show that blends tradition and high technology
The concept is based on a simple yet totally mesmerizing idea: to make the raw emotion of strings converse with the precisely choreographed dance of fleets of drones. And here, there's no rushing through the performance. To provide a long and immersive experience, two fleets alternate behind the scenes: while one paints the sky, the other recharges. This rare process takes DroneArt Show to another level compared to traditional drone shows, which are often limited to just ten short minutes.

A show to experience both on the ground and in the sky
At the foot of the stage, 20,000 candles wrap the audience in a warm and almost mystical glow. The quartet plays in the midst of this golden halo, creating an enchanting contrast with the shimmering lights that come to life above. Between each aerial performance, food trucks and DJ sets enhance the experience, giving the show a chic and futuristic nighttime festival vibe.

The DroneArt Show transforms classical music into a visual journey. Featuring a timeless repertoire – from Vivaldi to Mussorgsky – the show promises a timeless moment where art, technology, and emotions intertwine. Lyon just has to look up! The date is set, the tickets are already on sale.
