This year again, the Festivities Committee and the creators of Monplaisir are going all out! Just like last year, the lovely Ambroise Courtois square in Monplaisir will welcome 60 local creators ready to dazzle you with their unique creations during the traditional Christmas of Creators and Gastronomy. And to satisfy curious appetites, they've also hunted down about twenty food stands and food trucks that are simply delicious. A sensory recital that will take over the iconic square in Lyon's 8th district on Sunday, December 14th from 10 am to 7 pm.
Textiles, jewelry, ceramics, illustrations, bags, accessories, candles, solid cosmetics... No matter what you're looking for, you're sure to find it here! Whether for yourself or some last-minute gifts, it's a unique chance to discover extraordinary creations. This year, the focus is on handmade items, artisanal techniques, local products, and short supply chains, all in a warm atmosphere. And with 60 local creators, you can be sure to find something that sparks your curiosity.
An 8th edition that promises to be unforgettable
If you’re a bit of a foodie, you’ll be thrilled to know that the festival committee has selected about twenty stands featuring gourmet artisans. Fruits, cheeses, foie gras, snails, regional specialties... everything you need to delight your loved ones during the holidays. A lovely day outdoors, surrounded by tempting aromas, unique creations, musical entertainment, and many other surprises accompanying this must-see event, perfect for dancing between bites of cheese.
The Festivities Committee and the Creators of Monplaisir are behind two must-visit annual events: the Handmade Market during the Monplaisir Tables in summer, and of course, this delightful Gourmet and Creative Christmas that brings the magic of the season to Ambroise Courtois Square.
