And another Christmas market in Lyon! This year again, the Festivities Committee and the creators of Monplaisir are joining forces to make our dreams come true in a big way. On Sunday, December 15th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the lovely Ambroise Courtois square in Lyon 8th will welcome 60 local creators gathered to dazzle us with their unique creations during the traditional "Christmas of Creators and Gastronomy". And to treat everyone, they’ve also found 22 food stalls run by gourmet artisans that are simply delicious.

it focuses on handmade items, artisanal techniques, local proximity, and short supply chains, all in a warm atmosphere. And with 60 local creators, you can be sure to find something to pique your curiosity.
If you're a bit of a foodie, you'll be thrilled to know that the festival committee has selected more than 20 stands, all more delicious than the last. Fruits, cheeses, foie gras, snails, regional specialties, and other drinks... everything you need to delight your loved ones during the holidays. It's a lovely day outdoors, surrounded by tempting aromas, unique creations, and festivities with plenty of musical and cultural activities to liven up this beautiful day: a fire art show and stilt walkers from the company Fartfelu at 5 PM and the Barrel Organ from the company U Gomina.
The Comité des Fêtes and the Creators of Monplaisir are behind two must-attend annual events: the Handmade Market during the Tablées de Monplaisir in summer, and of course, this Merry and Creative Christmas that brings the magic of the season to Place Ambroise Courtois. It's a wonderful way to support local artisans while enjoying a lovely time with family or friends.
