In 2023, just like in 2022, the SPA, and especially the shelters in Lyon, experienced a record number of abandoned pets. So much so that many centers have to expand their walls to welcome new animals. This highlights the crucial importance of finding loving and responsible families for the residents. To achieve this, the Brignais shelter is organizing an adoption day on Saturday, January 20, 2024. For this special occasion, the shelter will open its doors all day from 10am to 5:30pm for you to visit the cats, dogs, rodents, and farm animals.
Whether you're looking to bring home a new companion or simply make a donation to help the SPA care for these wonders, your visit is always welcome. Because this independent association receives no government funding and can only carry out its missions thanks to the generosity of its members. For those with a sweet tooth, a sale of pastries and hot drinks, all to benefit the animals, will be available throughout the day at the reception desk.
It is needless to remind you that adoption is a decision that should be carefully considered. By welcoming an animal into your home, you commit to many (and wonderful) years. To place their protected animals, the SPA requires proof of residence and a form of identification.
