It's now a delightful tradition! The Region of Lights festival is back to brighten up Fourvière with a spectacular free show that's sure to be grand, as confirmed by Actu Lyon. Sponsored by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the event offers a stunning sound and light show that will transform the hill into a true celestial stage. It's a must-see gathering, eagerly anticipated by both locals and visitors from around the globe who come to enjoy the Festival of Lights.
Two series of free projections
The show will be presented from December 5 to 7 and again from December 26 to 31, providing a poetic experience accessible to everyone. The first displays will take place on December 5 and 6 from 7 PM to 11 PM, and on December 7 from 6 PM to 10 PM, right in the heart of the Festival of Lights.
Ten minutes of visual poetry to weave into your radiant journey, like a lovely pause suspended above the city. For those who prefer to skip the crowds or who might have missed the first round, a second session will take place from December 26 to 31, from 6:45 PM to 9:45 PM, featuring an extended version lasting 18 minutes. Perfect for extending the holiday magic until the very last day of the year.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
The AURA Region takes pride in making the spectacle accessible to everyone. People with disabilities will enjoy easier access and a vibrating floor to fully experience the sound. An audio description version will be available online, as well as a video recording for those who cannot attend in person. This initiative confirms the ambition of creating a truly universal show.
An Enigmatic Yet Highly Anticipated Work
As every year, the company Les Allumeurs de Rêves, alongside Gilbert Coudène, will orchestrate the lighting. While the story and theme of the show remain a secret, we can expect a new poetic, immersive, and vibrant work true to their artistic signature. At Fourvière, the magic unfolds! grave;re always… and it’s not done shining yet.
