On Saturday, May 10, starting at 11 AM, “Backstage 2025” will take you from spectator to performer, propelling you into the backstage of one of the most iconic venues in Lyon’s cultural scene.
Here, there’s no sitting quietly. The Opera invites you on a participatory adventure where both young and old can experience the magic behind the scenes. We kick things off with a powerful choral singing workshop led by the conductor and the children of the Maîtrise – chills guaranteed. The more curious can venture onto the stage and into the orchestra pit, guided by the musicians themselves. And for those dreaming of tutus and ballet moves, it’s off to the grand dance bar with the ballet dancers!

This event is part of the national program “Everyone at the Opera” and, like every year, promises a turnout worthy of a premiere night.
