The C200 line is the little revolution of the back-to-school season for TCL: since Monday, September 1st, this line serves Vaulx-en-Velin, Décines, Chassieu, and Genas, with a bus every 10 minutes during peak hours. Noteworthy is that one in three buses continues on to the airport and the TGV train station at Saint-Exupéry, approximately every 30 minutes, for a journey of just 43 minutes.

Improvements for Faster Travel

Sytral has thought of everything to streamline the journey: dedicated lanes, traffic light priority, and bypassing congested traffic spots. Essentially, this means fewer traffic jams and better reliability, even on often busy routes like Jean Mermoz Street in Chassieu or the Boulevard des Droits de l’Homme in Bron.

A trip to the airport for just 2.10€

The TCL ticket at 2.10 € is a fantastic deal for this new route, especially when you compare it to the 16 € charged by the Rhônexpress. It's definitely a money saver, particularly for those who frequently travel to the airport. Great news for TCL subscribers too: the C200 line is included in their subscription.

Now, let's talk about comfort and convenience. To take advantage of this, you'll first need to head to a town in the eastern part of Lyon and then hop on the right bus (the one that goes all the way to the airport). Traveling with luggage and strollers could make the experience a bit daunting for many travelers, especially since the total journey involving metro and bus can take nearly 1.5 hours.
