The artist, photographer, and activist JR needs no introduction. Known for his monumental portraits displayed on the façades of public spaces, JR launched the Inside Out project in 2011. A project that has traveled to 140 countries aboard a photobooth bus to capture the portraits of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
Following this monumental project, the initiative led by JR will make a stop in Lyon in the Bron Parilly UC district on Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22. Curious folks can head over to get their portraits taken by the artist, who will then display these snapshots in the neighborhood. An event in partnership with the social housing provider Lyon Métropole Habitat.
