Harry Potter Book Night @ Lyon and the surrounding region

From February 6 to 9, the Harry Potter Night returns for a magical edition, focused on caring for magical creatures! Until May 4, 2025, the Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication in Lyon is hosting a fantastic exhibition dedicated to Jean-Luc Godard, master of cinema and words, before closing for renovations. Titled "Jean-Luc Godard, the Typographer Behind the Camera", this exhibition delves into a lesser-known aspect of the filmmaker: his obsession with typographic characters. Antique Olive, Helvetica, Verdana… He didn’t pick these fonts randomly; they resonate with the technological shifts of his time.

Birthday Brunch Tribune de Lyon @ Le Grand Réfectoire

The magazine Tribune de Lyon just released its 1000th issue on Thursday, February 6th! It's a collector's edition with 116 pages that sum up 20 years of Lyon news, memories, and independence, featuring a cover created by the street artist BRUSK. And since anniversaries call for celebration, Tribune de Lyon is hosting a big day of conferences and cooking workshops this Saturday, a treasure hunt on Saturday afternoon, and a grand communal meal on Sunday, February 9th at 9 AM. Everything will take place at the Grand Hotel-Dieu (the conferences and cooking workshops at the Cité de la Gastronomie and the communal meal at the Grand Refectoire).
