Festival Soïo Mundo @ Parc Blandan

Parc Blandan is turning into a true crossroads of cultures with the return of the Soïo Mundo festival from July 2nd to 5th. Completely free, this event celebrates traditional and popular music from around the world in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. This weekend, let yourself be swept away by an Andean Peñá, learn the tango, groove to the rhythm of Cape Verdean Batuku, or discover the sounds of Mandingue, Occitan, and Mediterranean music. Concerts, dances, brass bands, and gatherings flow together in a spirit of sharing that makes Soïo Mundo one of the warmest highlights of the Lyon summer. It’s an invitation to travel... without leaving the 7th district.

Summer wouldn’t really be summer without a nice cold spritz! Good news: Lupo is dedicating an entire evening to the famous Italian cocktail this Friday. Just a stone's throw from the banks of the Saône, this deli-sandwich shop will offer several versions of the star drink, from Aperol to Limoncello Spritz, and even Camperol. All at friendly prices, in a warm atmosphere that brings a touch of dolce vita to downtown. It's the perfect opportunity to kick off happy hour before continuing the night out in the streets of Lyon.

Open air @ Place Sathonay

Place Sathonay is getting a festival vibe this Saturday thanks to the Be Buddy collective. Starting at 2 PM, there will be DJ sets, a creators' market, food stalls, and outdoor bars taking over one of the nicest squares in the 1st arrondissement. The idea is simple: soak up the sun, catch up with friends over a drink, and let the music carry you through the afternoon until sunset. It's a summer gathering that Lyon does so well... and it's completely free!
