On Saturday, May 9th, starting at 11 AM, “Backstage 2026” makes you go from audience member to performer, launching you into the backstage of one of the most iconic venues in Lyon's cultural scene.

Here, there’s no sitting quietly. The Opera invites you on a participatory adventure where both young and old can experience the behind-the-scenes magic. On the agenda: makeup and juice bar; spontaneous encounters with the Opera teams to discover lesser-known but essential jobs (lyric production, makeup and hair, music library, graphic design, cultural action, HR…); a tasty break at the panoramic bar Les Muses; a choral singing workshop; a rehearsal of the Orchestra and the Choirs of the Hospices…

The event is part of the national program « Everyone at the Opera » and promises, as every year, a crowd worthy of a premiere night.
