The Lyon Metropolis is making a bold move with an initiative that democratizes access to one of the region’s biggest festivals. For the first time, over 1,000 free tickets are being offered to those aged 16-26 to attend the legendary Nuits de Fourvière. The goal is clear: to allow a new generation to discover this must-see event that makes Lyon come alive every summer. Theatre, music, dance… the eclectic program suddenly becomes much more accessible.

An opportunity not to be missed (and to plan ahead)

The system is based on a simple but effective principle: first come, first served. Registration opens on May 4 at noon on the Metropolis website. Each eligible young person – between 16 and 26 years old and living in the area…

one of the 58 municipalities in the area – will be able to reserve a spot for two people. This means that the quickest among you will have the privilege of enjoying exceptional evenings in the unique setting of Fourvière.

90 shows to experience an extraordinary summer

This initiative mainly allows access to an XXL program, often snatched up the moment it’s announced. With nearly 90 shows on the lineup, the Nuits de Fourvière remain a cornerstone of the French cultural scene. From international headliners to emerging gems, each evening transforms into a unique experience set against a backdrop rich in history.
