For two days, thousands of items that have graced the kitchens and dining rooms of prestigious restaurants will be offered to the public at affordable prices. Plates, glasses, cutlery, tablecloths, napkins, silverware, kitchen accessories, and decorative elements: everything you need to give your dining room table the feel of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Many prestigious establishments will participate in this new edition, including La Mère Brazier, Paul Bocuse restaurant, Georges Blanc, Villa Florentine and Flocons de Sel. Other Lyon and regional establishments such as Epona, Château de Bagnols, Le M and Cinq Mains will also be represented.
A chic and eco-friendly flea market
The Chefs' Tableware is based on an idea that's both simple and effective: rather than letting these pieces gather dust in restaurant storage, why not give them a second life in private homes? The event thus embraces an eco-solidary approach while allowing visitors to leave with objects carrying a touch of gastronomic history.
And for bargain hunters, the weekend holds a little twist in store: Saturday favors selection, while prices benefit from discounts on Sunday. Ticketing opened this Thursday, October 1st at 8am and entry will be free with mandatory registration. A tough choice between leaving immediately with your find or playing it cool to try and score an even better deal.
