From Saturday, September 13 to Sunday, September 14, the Croix-Rousse district in Lyon transforms into a huge playground for those on the hunt for great deals and local discoveries. Organized by the Lyon Côté Croix-Rousse association, this flea market has become a must-attend event for the Lyon back-to-school season. Between established merchants, creators, producers, and artisans, the neighborhood comes alive from 9 AM to 7 PM to welcome curious shoppers and passionate bargain hunters.
A unique shopping experience in the heart of Lyon
Grande rue, place de la Croix-Rousse, and rue Pailleron will be filled with colorful and lively stalls. From handcrafted creations to local products, not to mention fashion treasures and accessories, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. For the foodies, a dining area and food trucks will be set up in the place de la Croix-Rousse, offering a culinary world tour without leaving the square.
Lyon.Italy Takes Center Stage with Fun Activities for Everyone
On Saturday, September 13th, Perrod Street will transform into a true Italian street. Flavors, accents, and a delightful ambiance will whisk visitors away for a tasty and authentic experience. At the same time, DIY workshops led by Co.maker will offer creative moments for parents and children in Croix-Rousse Square.
Sports, Music, and a Festive Atmosphere
The braderie is also a perfect opportunity to move and have fun with family and friends. On Saturday, the PetitsPas dance school will offer two free Pilates classes, by registration, in the small square of Croix-Rousse. And since music is part of the event’s DNA, the batucada Bandana will bring energy to the day with a lively parade at 2 PM.
30 and 5:30 PM, turning the shopping streets into a true open-air stage.
