With the heat that has settled for good in Lyon, ice creams are making a triumphant return to the top of the most sought-after treats. And we have just come across a brand new marvel: the frozen cookie dough from Mariller les Saveurs.

When it's hot, the sun is shining, and our heart desperately craves some refreshment, ice cream becomes a must. And if the lucky people from Lyon have plenty of options to cool down their tongues, they probably aren't prepared for the wonder we discovered... Since June 9, the pastry shop Mariller les Saveurs (Lyon 4th and Lyon 6th) has unveiled the hit of the summer: a cookie dough ice cream!

The hottest ice cream of the summer

To be precise, it's actually a vanilla ice cream from Madagascar sandwiched between two cookie doughs (cookies that are not completely baked, the big trend of the moment) with a generous topping of salted butter caramel glaze. Just describing this little calorie wonder makes our mouths water.

Already classified among the best pastries in Lyon but also the best cookies in the city, Mariller les Saveurs proves once again that it knows how to perfectly understand the Lyonnais appetites.
