Artisanal Glacier, Restaurant, and Brunch All in One Place
Joséphine is like our grandma to all of us. Julien, a pastry chef and artisan glacier, has been perfecting his craft for 17 years, making Joséphine one of the last artisanal glaciers in Lyon to produce their own ice creams on site from exceptional raw ingredients. On the menu: 36 flavors, each more enticing than the last, from classic to bold, including seasonal creations that evolve throughout the year. But recently, Joséphine has expanded to offer a cozy and comforting cuisine all week long, ranging from comforting grandmother's comfort food to a French-style brunch.

In a gourmet cocoon entirely renovated in the style of a Parisian café, Joséphine offers an authentic cuisine every lunchtime. From Monday to Saturday, Mathilde, the young chef, revisits popular French recipes: truffle croque, cannelloni, beef bourguignon, and other slow-cooked dishes from our childhood.

And because the address is as welcoming as it is versatile, Josephine puts on her Sunday best every Sunday from 10am to 2pm, offering all the classic Parisian brunch dishes. On the menu: soft-boiled eggs, butter and jam toast, Eggs Benedict croissant, fresh fruit plate, and many more, but also a Great Brunch Plate for €17.50 where you can find a mix of all these recipes.

On top of that, Joséphine also offers a variety of sweet treats with delicious homemade crepes and pastries (the pastry chef is incredibly talented!) and milkshakes in various flavors to cool down on hot days. All of which can be enjoyed with a nice cup of tea or coffee, as the house also serves as a cozy living room. Yes, Joséphine is like that friend you can always rely on, no matter the day or your current cravings. That's true luxury!
