This is exactly what you'll find at the Bouchon Palais Grillet, located right in the heart of the Presqu'île. From the moment you walk in, you'll be charmed by the rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere. The restaurant is divided into 3 rooms, including an upstairs area that feels like a cozy living room, and even a lovely shaded terrace overlooking Rue Grenette from March to November.

The team, mostly composed of young female talents, including the two executive chefs, is at the forefront of this gastronomic adventure. The restaurant aims to be an ode to the Lyonnaise culinary tradition, revisited with a contemporary touch and locally sourced products of undeniable freshness. Bouchon Palais Grillet has made a deliberate choice to highlight local producers, thus favoring quality cuisine with a strong sense of terroir. Each dish, meticulously prepared by the creative brigade, is a tribute to the recipes of the famous "Lyonnaise mothers", revisited with modernity and passion. All to be enjoyed every day of the week...even on Sunday for lunch and on Mondays!

Lyonnais cuisine with a modern twist 7 days a week

The menu offers a true gastronomic journey divided into several options at an unbeatable price-quality ratio: a Lyonnais Menu for €34 or a dish of the day for only €13 served at lunchtime on weekdays. You'll find all the great Lyonnais specialties revisited with a modern twist: snails in parsley, Lyonnais salad, egg meurette with sautéed bacon, mushrooms and meat juice for starters; chicken supreme with Saint-Marcellin sauce and gratin Dauphinois, ravioli with cep and truffle cream, sweetbreads with cep and morel cream and gratin Dauphinois for mains, and floating island with praline and custard, caramelized apples flambéed with Calvados and hazelnut crumble, or the exquisite praline tart for desserts.

Don't forget that new suggestions are regularly added to the menu, including a whimsical homemade Lyonnais burger (even the bread...). As for the wine selection, it's all about regional bottles that pair perfectly with the delicate dishes prepared. And to further convince you, know that Bouchon Palais Grillet is one of the very few Lyonnais bouchons recommended by the very serious Gault & Millau.
