100 cuvées to taste in a XXL wine garden

With the Gamay Days, Lyon offers a festival dedicated to the star grape variety in a festive and ultra-contemporary format. On May 23 and 24, 2026, the Confluence district will transform into a true playground for food lovers, between HEAT and H7. The idea is simple yet delightfully effective: to put gamay back at the center of attention in an accessible, friendly, and decidedly urban atmosphere. Here, there’s no stiff tasting; instead, it’s an event designed for everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned enthusiasts.

The heart of the event is this gigantic wine bar where over 100 cuvées will be waiting to be discovered. Over more than 40 meters, around fifty winemakers from Beaujolais, Lyon, Auvergne, and Savoie will share their creations for tasting. Light, fruity, structured, or more complex: gamay reveals all its facets. An immersion.total in this long-underestimated chapter, now become essential on trendy tables.

Food court, chefs, DJ sets, and workshops

Because wine without food is like summer without a terrace, the festival also focuses on a strong culinary offering. A 100% Beaujolais bistro food court will bring together several renowned chefs who will offer generous cuisine.

use and creative. Between reimagined Lyonnais bouchons, market dishes, and vegetarian options, every glass will find its perfect match.

Beyond tastings, the Gamay Days embrace the full festival vibe. DJ sets, workshops, talks, and kids' activities will fill the weekend with fun. Entry is free, allowing you to stroll, taste, dance, and enjoy without any pressure. In short, it’s a hybrid spot where wine meets celebration — and where Lyon reaffirms its status as the capital of good taste.
