On Saturday, November 8th, Lyon will bark with joy at the very first Teckel Day. Organized by Brigand, the coolest dog concept store on the peninsula, the event is already shaping up to be THE must-visit spot for lovers of sausage dogs. After a memorable Cocker Day last October, which gathered nearly 150 dogs and over 500 participants, Brigand is putting on the leash and bringing out the treats for a day that’s as festive as it is furry.

A day of walks, fun, and hot dogs

The kick-off will be at 9:30 AM with the “Teckel Walk”, a collective stroll starting from the Palais de Justice footbridge, heading towards the Caillou Café Comptoir on the slopes of Fourvière. From 10 AM to 5 PM, participants can enjoy stands featuring dog accessories and products, games, activities, and a 100% Brigand atmosphere—cheerful and relaxed. And at noon, get ready for the highlight of the event: hot dogs from Caillou, because a Teckel Day without sausages… wouldn’t be very serious!

In the afternoon, participants will have the chance to attend a canine osteopathy conference to learn more about the health and comfort of their four-legged friends. The event, designed to be warm and welcoming, is also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between humans and dogs, while enjoying a coffee, a hot dog, or a leisurely walk on a leash.

Brigand, the concept store that reinvents canine life in Lyon

At the heart of this canine craze, Brigand continues to make its mark on Lyon's life. Located in the Ainay district (Lyon 2nd), this place is a cutting-edge boutique, a grooming salon, and a dog-friendly café, becoming a true hub for dog lovers. Its founder, Juliette, doesn't hide her pride.rté : « The Cocker Day brought us all together so much that we just couldn’t stop there. The Dachshund Day is our way of celebrating these little sausages full of character and proving that in Lyon, dogs truly have a place everywhere. »
