Eight years after their last visit to the capital of the Gauls, Megadeth will finally reconnect with Lyon audiences for one last unforgettable encounter. The band led by the unmissable Dave Mustaine will perform just two concerts in France during this farewell tour: a first one in Paris on March 21, 2027, then a final Lyon date on April 8 at the Tony-Garnier Hall.

This tour marks the end of an adventure that began over forty years ago. In January 2026, Dave Mustaine announced that Megadeth's seventeenth album would also be their last, closing the final chapter of one of thrash metal's most iconic bands, which has sold over 50 million albums worldwide.

A XXL poster for metal fans

For this exceptional evening, Megadeth won't be coming alone. Three generations of metal will succeed one another on stage to offer a true celebration of the genre. The audience will first be able to enjoy Testament, another monument of American thrash, before making way for Black Label Society and its muscular heavy metal. Finally, Dave Mustaine will take the stage surrounded by James LoMenzo on bass, Teemu Mäntysaari on guitar, and Dirk Verbeuren on drums to perform the classics that have marked several generations of fans.
