Every year in Lyon, the Wisteria Festival celebrates the blooming season of these beautiful trees. You can find over 350 of them gathered on a 200-hectare area in the Montchat neighborhood in the 3rd district of Lyon. Officially launched from April 6th to May 3rd, the Wisteria Festival is the perfect opportunity to go and discover this amazing natural spectacle still unknown to many Lyonnais.
Because in spring, the wisteria offers a splendid colorful show ranging from violet, blue, and white on 'clusters' that can reach over a meter in length. A poetic plant that immerses us in a Japanese-style setting that we wouldn't expect to find in the heart of Lyon.
