Did you think Lyon was only about bouchons, quenelles, and Côtes-du-Rhône? Think again! The city is also a wonderful place for specialty coffee lovers. To celebrate this vibrant coffee culture, the Lyon Coffee Events association, which promotes the local coffee scene in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is launching the first edition of the Lyon Coffee Fest, a festival dedicated to the rich, sustainable, and delicious world of coffee.

« Lyon has a true culinary richness, but its coffee scene also deserves its moment of glory », says Senny Ferreira, co-founder of the event. The idea? Shine a light on a new generation of committed, traceable, ethical cafés, where quality prevails over quantity. Far away from bitter coffees served in plastic cups.
