After a first edition filled with success, the Lyon Coffee Fest is back! From April 27 to May 3, 2026, the event organized by Lyon Coffee Events spans the entire city and is clearly raising the bar. Longer, denser, and more community-focused, it’s now part of a national movement, thanks to the support of the Collectif Café, which was already behind similar events like the Bordeaux Coffee Week. The result: a festival designed as a full immersion into coffee culture.
Five days to explore Lyon's coffee scene
Before the grand finale, the week will be filled with a multitude of activities in the coffee shops of Lyon. Tastings, workshops, and meet-ups with passionate baristas will create an exciting atmosphere!
... the entire specialty coffee scene should get in on the fun. The idea is simple yet incredibly effective: turn the city into a playground for both the curious and the purists. This format also highlights unique spots and fosters connections between professionals and enthusiasts.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
An XXL Lyon Coffee Show at Confluence
The highlight of the festival will take place on May 2nd and 3rd with a fair that clearly steps up its game. To host nearly 30 roasters, talks, DJ sets, and a much larger expected crowd, the event is moving to a bigger venue: H7, right in the heart of the Confluence Lyon district. It's a hybrid spot, reflecting this new generation of events where coffee becomes a true cultural experience.
The rapid growth of the Lyon Coffee Fest is no coincidence: the first edition clearly laid the groundwork. With about twenty exhibitors and already a great turnout,!
In 2025, the festival managed to capture the energy of a rapidly growing sector. In 2026, everything is set for success and to firmly place Lyon on the map of major specialty coffee cities.
