Born in Lyon, the event The Ink Factory has become a global reference in just 6 editions, welcoming over 14,000 visitors in 2024 and occupying 15,000 m² of exhibition space. In France, where one in five people is tattooed, the festival showcases the rapid democratization of this practice, which now stands out as a complete form of artistic expression.

A World Tour of Ink
At the Halle Tony Garnier, each booth transforms into a vibrant gallery. Polynesians, Maori, Asians, realistic, abstract, geometric, new school, or neo-traditional: all styles come together in a creative whirlwind. The 350 artists present embody the richness and diversity of the international scene. Every needle tells a story, each work becomes a unique piece, and the audience witnesses ephemeral creations designed to last a lifetime.

An experience open to everyone
Tattooed or not, everyone finds their place at the festival. Enthusiasts come to enrich their collection with talents from around the world, while the curious enjoy live demonstrations, discover techniques, ask their questions, and dive into the fascinating world of tattoos. The event also feels like a celebration: chill areas with sun loungers, vintage pinball machines, arcade stations, an eclectic food court, and even a cookie bar.

Performances that Leave a Mark
The Ink Factory is art in all its forms. House of Ink pays tribute to Lyon's electronic roots with 10 electrifying DJ sets. A tattoo contest, fire shows by Mother Dragon, body painting by Wendy Hoek Van Bentum, an exhibition of rare skateboards with the Disturb House Museum, and let's not forget the SF and Japanese universe of Théo Fievez: the weekend promises an intense and multi-sensory lineup.
