The Lyon Fair is back, and this year, it’s taking us on a time-travel adventure to the fabulous 70s to 90s! A time when backpacks were adorned with Fluomania stickers, when we dreamed while watching Saint Seiya, and Saturday mornings meant Club Dorothée. With a touch of nostalgia, the 2025 edition of this must-visit event is all about pop culture, inviting visitors to dive back into their childhood memories… or introducing them to this iconic era.
With no less than 850 exhibitors, the Lyon Fair maintains its status as the largest commercial event in the region. The booths dedicated to pop culture will go all out, featuring decorations and products straight out of cult decades. The best exhibitors will even be rewarded for their creativity! Plus, visitors can meander through an ever-diverse shopping area, explore a super complete “Home” universe, and discover the 2025 new additions: a real estate space and 1,500 m² dedicated to motorhomes!
Pop culture, video games, and nostalgia
On the culinary side, the event also shines with a world tour of flavors. French, Brazilian, Asian specialties… and a must-visit trip to Italy with aan area of 500 m² dedicated, where 23 exhibitors will introduce you to the best of Italian gastronomy.
And because a good dose of pop culture wouldn’t be complete without video games, the Lyon Fair is bringing back its Gones Games event for a second edition. On the agenda: retro-gaming challenges, virtual reality experiences, and an Esport zone with EbTV and Gametek hosting tournaments for games like Splatoon and Super Smash Bros, with finals taking place on stage. There will also be activities for the public at booths, including Nintendo League gaming stations, a LOL gaming area in partnership with CIC, a retro-gaming zone of over 100 m² by the Art’cade association, a Redbull bar with a Formula 1 simulator space, cosplay, and K-pop, not to mention the must-visit food and souvenir stands.
The fun doesn’t stop here! Visitors can enjoy a tribute show to Coluche by Henri Giraud, a Scoop Live hosted by the amazing Charly & Lulu featuring 100% revival concerts with Larusso, K. Maro, and Willy Denzey, the Fest’Hip Hop, and the official selections for The Voice and The Voice Kids. To top it all off, there will be a Heroes Night with pianist Eric Artz performing first, followed by an iconic concert from Bernard Minet, who will revisit the cartoon themes from the '80s. In short, the Foire de Lyon 2025 promises a program as rich as it is filled with emotions. All that’s left is to mark your calendars and ride the wave of nostalgia and discovery!
