Since 2022, AiRT de famille has been transforming abandoned spaces into creative laboratories. After the Textile Museum and the Galerie des Terreaux, it's now the turn of the Perrache exchange center, marked by construction work, to reinvent itself thanks to artists. The goal is clear: to provide a playground for experimentation while breathing new life into a place often considered cold and unwelcoming.
Worlds to Explore Like in an Amusement Park
This edition unfolds like a true artistic amusement park, with interconnected universes brought to life by the "guardians of the worlds" imagined by the duo Toki. Water, city, nature, balance games: each space becomes a total immersion, from floor to ceiling. In Carnot Square, murals and performances will extend this journey in the great outdoors.

Another hallmark of the festival: collecting items donated by locals. Over 600 pieces, ranging from a shark jaw to sneakers worn by Nando de Colo at the Olympics, have been entrusted to the artists. Each fragment of daily life thus becomes part of the artwork.e;ce living art integrated into the works.
More than 40 artists are on board
This 4th edition brings together an XXL cast of established and emerging talents. You'll see familiar names like Dorothée Richard, Myet, and Muz mural media, as well as exciting new artistic voices such as Also, Piment Martin, and Fouapa. The illustrator Gaspard Mariotte will even create a travel diary right on the facade of the building.

Beyond the exhibition, AiRT de famille focuses on interaction with the public. In "the workshop," you can try linocut printing, get tattooed during flash days, hunt for vinyl records, or join in on sonic brunches. The festival will also step outside its walls with the Lyon braderie festival, events at Place des Jacobins, and artwork on abandoned bus shelters on Rue de la République.
