It took some courage. Mixing a marathon, DJ sets, and artistic performances in the same weekend seemed improbable... until the arrival of Run&Fest. On May 23 and 24, 2026, the first edition of this hybrid festival will take place in Mâcon, just an hour away from Lyon. The concept is simple and wonderfully effective: a Saturday dedicated to music, artistic performances, and celebration, followed by a Sunday focused on running.

A unique way to bring together two worlds that ultimately share the same DNA: collective energy and the desire to push beyond limits. With up to 12,000 participants expected over the weekend, this new gathering could very well become one of the most unexpected events of spring in the region.

Kavinsky headlining to ignite the first edition

On Saturday, May 23rd, the village of Run&Fest will open its doors at 2 PM with live concerts, artistic performances, and a food court to create the perfect vibe. But the evening promises to build up to the most awaited moment: the DJ set by Kavinsky at 11 PM.

A true cult figure in the French electro scene, the creator of the hit Nightcall promises to turn Mâcon into a giant dance floor. Other artists will also light up Saturday's lineup, including Jude, DJ Sonik, and Moarasia, while the Sunday schedule will feature Swave and Tigarah.

Marathon, half or 10 km : Running through the landscapes of Mâconnais

After the festivities, it's time for some sports! On Sunday, May 24th, participants will lace up their sneakers to explore the hilly roads of Mâconnais in a joyful atmosphere. Three formats are offered to cater to all types of runners: a marathon starting at 8 AM, a half-marathon at 10 AM, and a 10-kilometer race at noon. The course promises to be both challenging and spectacular, surrounded by vineyard landscapes and cheers from the crowd. In the afternoon, music will take center stage once again with new concerts and DJ sets to wrap up this sporty and festive weekend on an electrifying note.

As if the program weren't already intense enough, one of the event founders, Mathis, will take on an extraordinary challenge: breaking the French record for 24 hours on a treadmill. The start will be on Saturday at 5 PM, aiming for a finish the next day at the same time. While festival-goers dance to the DJ set of .
