On September 27, a whole continent is landing right in the heart of Confluence. Station Mue transforms into an Asian stopover for a day as sizzling as a stir-fried noodle wok. What’s on the menu? Seven stalls of 100% authentic street food to take a culinary tour of Asia without leaving Lyon: China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, India, and Vietnam. In short, a true tsunami of flavors, aromas, and spices that’s sure to delight more than a few taste buds.

But the journey doesn’t stop at the plate. The Asian Food Festival is also a trendy and immersive atmosphere with vibrant artistic shows: classical Indian Bharatanatyam dance, Vietnamese Xoe art, Chinese dragons with percussion, and even a K-pop dance cover for BTS and fellow fans. And while the performers light up the stage, the DJs keep the beats going to keep you in the mood all day long.

A whirlwind of Asian flavors and a creators' market

On the workshop side, it's all about interaction and creativity: learn to roll your dumplings like a pro, fold origami, wrap presents the furoshiki way, and dive into calligraphy and the art of Asian tattooing. Add to that a super stylish creators' market, decorative stands, and a good dose of good vibes, and you get a festival that smells like the fusion between cu.

lture, gastronomy, and modernity.

With 2,500 expected visitors, the Asian Food Festival has become the place to be this fall for anyone who loves finger food, dancing for no reason, and discovering without leaving Lyon.
