It's the end of a beautiful adventure for Les Débraillées, this boutique in Lyon that transformed clothing and accessory rentals into a chic and responsible alternative to overconsumption. Delphine Gelin and Sirine Laghmiri, the founders, shared the news on Instagram: after three years of dedication to sustainable fashion, the shop in the 1st arrondissement will be closing its doors for good.

The message is both melancholic and grateful. « Today we have bad news and good news », they explain, admitting they thought long and hard before making this « difficult but necessary decision ». While they don’t specify the exact reasons for this stop, the complicated situation of independent trade and the evolution of the responsible fashion sector are probably significant factors.
A big clearance sale at 60% off everything in the store
But there’s no way they’re leaving without one last moment of sharing! To celebrate this ending properly, a big sale is organized from April 1st to 6th. It’s an opportunity for regulars (and the curious) to snag some gems from their collection at sweet prices. A final spin for this boutique that has left a mark and offered a committed fashion alternative.

The founders conclude their message with heartfelt emotion, warmly thanking their community: “You have been part of our daily lives for all these years, and we wanted to thank you for that.” One thing is for sure: Les D&eac.ute;braillé.e.s will leave a gap in the landscape of responsible fashion in Lyon.
