We've been talking about it for quite some time, and we finally know when the famous exhibition Van Gogh The Immersive Experience will take place in Lyon. And the good news is that it's happening very soon!

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, the immersive exhibition celebrated all over the world, is finally arriving in Lyon! Starting from February 21st, it's at Studio 24 in Villeurbanne that the master of post-impressionism will greet visitors for a unique sensory adventure.

A total dive into Van Gogh's universe

Presented by Exhibition Hub and Fever, the exhibition combines art and technology to offer a fresh perspective on Van Gogh's life and work. Think you know his Sunflowers or Starry Night? Think again! Thanks to techniques like anamorphosis and 360° video mapping, his paintings come to life, revealing unexpected perspectives and details.

Among the key highlights not to miss: a life-size reconstruction of The Bedroom, where you can literally step inside the painting; a space d&e.

acute;dié to Japanese influences of the artist ; and a focus on his works from the South of France, featuring masterpieces like The Starry Night over the Rhône and Almond Blossom.

Spectacular animations and a journey into virtual reality

The experience doesn’t stop there. In an immersive room dedicated to it, over 200 works come to life with sound and lights thanks to a collaboration with more than 40 international digital artists. All enhanced by breathtaking video mapping technology. And to top it off, virtual reality will transport you right into eight of his iconic paintings. Just imagine walking through fields of wheat or under a swirling sky… Magical, right?

To wrap things up, let your creativity shine in an interactive workshop! Not only will you get to create your very own masterpiece, but you’ll also have the chance to project it in large format in the space.
