The Editor

Who hasn't heard of Banksy? For those who might have hibernated in the Larzac for the last 40 years, he’s a street artist shrouded in mystery, but his works captivate the entire planet. Rats, police officers, children, and even engaging political messages: his often provocative creations intrigue just as much as they fascinate. His artworks fetch millions of euros while his urban interventions become closely watched events... sometimes snatched away within the hour that follows (hello, London!)...

250 works to admire for free

Let's talk about the world's most famous street artist because a great exhibition dedicated to him will take place from April 12 to 27, just a little over an hour from Lyon in Échirolles. Dreamed up by François Berardino, a passionate collector for 15 years, this traveling exhibition titled Banksy Modeste Collection has already captivated thousands of visitors. The idea? To offer free access to 250 exceptional works and objects while shining a light on values dear to Banksy: solidarity, feminism, anti-consumerism, and peace.

Works by Banksy, and so much more!

Each exhibition is accompanied by a collaboration with local associations like Soccer de Rue and Secours Populaire. Volunteers will be on-site to guide visitors and present their actions, enhancing the event's engaged vibe. And because Banksy stays true to his principles, entrance is free! However, donations are welcome: a portion of the funds will help set up the exhibition, while the rest will go to local or national charities like SOS Méditerranée.
