"Pull Up a Log" - Funny name for a game bar, you might say... Let us shed some light: this expression straight from Quebec means "take a chair, get comfortable and join us". It is in this friendly and warm atmosphere that Alex, Augustin and Gaëtan decided to open this famous hidden game bar in the heart of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.© Vincent Delesvaux

Goodbye Monopoly!

It's like stepping into the game room of your childhood dreams! As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted by a massive room featuring a bar spanning several meters, offering 8 local beers on tap. There are tables for eating, snacking, and enjoying a drink, along with shelves filled not with books, but with board games. The concept is simple: you're treated like royalty here, with staff ready to serve you, guide you, and explain game rules. With a collection of 500 board game boxes catering to all tastes and skill levels, whether you're 7 or 107 years old, you'll have a blast challenging your friends without needing to be a genius.

On the left, you will find stairs. Go down and let the darkness envelop you, you have just entered the lair of challenge rooms! Three doors, three rooms, three games, one voice. The first door hides the game "Takaviser", in front of you, a wall filled with targets of multiple colors. The goal: shoot the targets with the corresponding balls. Next, head to the second room to play "Takataper", the quickest of players will be the winner. Simply tap on the targets as soon as they light up. Lastly, you will need strategy to play "Takabraquer", one color, multiple targets to reach, without touching the green rays that light up in the room. Games are played between 3 and 5 players for only €6 per person.
