Get ready to board the most legendary ocean liner in history without leaving Lyon! More than 110 years after its disappearance in the icy waters of the Atlantic, the Titanic resurfaces in a spectacular form at La Sucrière starting September 30, through a unique exhibition in France. Titanic: An Immersive Voyage is not just a simple tribute; it’s a sensory dive into the heart of the most famous ship in history. Here, you won't just watch – you’ll experience history up close and personal.

From the very first rooms, the atmosphere is set. Visitors weave through decor recreated with stunning realism: first-class cabins, radio rooms, luxurious salons... It really feels like you're there. And for a good reason: over 300 original pieces line the path. You’ll discover an actual first-class ticket, a heartfelt letter from Thomas Andrews, the ship’s architect, woodwork that has withstood the test of time, and even the famous Heart of the Ocean, lifted straight from James Cameron's iconic film. Just like the Titanic itself, emotions rise quickly on board.

The ill-fated ocean liner arrives in Lyon

But this journey isn’t just about the frozen past : it unfolds right before our eyes. 3D projections, interactive experiences, virtual reality tracing the wreck... each space evokes both our collective imagination and historical memory. One entire room immerses you in the icy atmosphere of a lifeboat. You’ll shiver. From fear, from awe, or maybe just a little bit of both.
