Lyon is continuing to showcase its appetite for XXL cultural experiences. Starting February 26, Monet: The Immersive Experience will be taking place at Studio 24 in Villeurbanne, a venue that has become a local reference for digital exhibitions. Following the popular success of the previous immersive experience dedicated to Van Gogh, it’s now Claude Monet who will literally be projected onto the walls and floor.

More than 300 artworks are reimagined through stunning 4K digital mapping, accompanied by a soundtrack designed to envelop the visitor. Water lilies, light play, and landscapes come alive in large format, transformed into a pixel ballet crafted to enchant both newcomers and art enthusiasts seeking a different experience.

Recreations and decor inspired by Monet's studio and the gardens of Giverny mark the journey, while a virtual reality experience adds to the mix. The goal is clear: to immerse the audience in the life, influences, and approach of the leader of Impressionism, blending education with spectacle.
An appealing format... but under scrutiny
In a cultural landscape saturated with immersive exhibitions, Monet arrives with added pressure. The audience in Lyon now knows the recipe by heart, and the challenge will be to manage to surprise without falling into mere technological repetition. A promise of visual escape or a feeling of déjà vu? We’ll find out from February 26, when Monet: The Immersive Experience opens its doors at Studio 24.
