They've lit up the Opera, entertained at the Saint-Paul station, and melted hearts with their XXL versions in the Tête d'Or park... The Anooki are back to charm the people of Lyon, but this time away from the spotlight and lasers. Their playground: the Estades gallery, where Moetu Batlle and David Passegand unveil an exhibition entirely dedicated to their two mischievous eskimos. And good news: it’s free, perfectly extending the magic of December.

An immersive exhibition in the frosty world of Anooki
Born as animated characters, the Anooki have over the editions transformed into true mascots of the City of Lights. For this exhibition titled “The Anooki entertain the gallery,” they finally take “shape”: joyful sculptures, radiant paintings, and heartwarming scenes invite visitors to dive into their playful world. You might even spot some references to Lyon scattered throughout the artworks, as if the two friends had fun reimagining the city in their own style.

After taking over from the famous Philippe Geluck's Cat, the little Eskimos clearly show they have what it takes to be the stars! The exhibition, inaugurated on November 22, is open until January 10, 2026, bringing its magic to the festive Lyon celebrations. Families, children, and lovers of the Festival of Lights will all find something to enjoy. And in between Christmas window shopping, it's the perfect activity to extend the winter wonder without spending too much time outside.
