Volotea has just launched a brand new route between Lyon and Alghero, in Sardinia. Two flights a week, paradise beaches, and an ultra-charming historic center… Clearly, summer is starting to feel really good over at Saint-Exupéry.

The bags are packed, and the sunglasses are ready too! This Friday morning, Volotea officially launched its first flight connecting Lyon-Saint Exupéry to Alghero, a little gem nestled in the northwest of Sardinia. This new destination adds to the Italian offerings of the airline from Lyon and is sure to become one of the most attractive plans for the summer.

With this launch, Volotea adds a seventh Italian destination to its Lyon network, bringing the total number of destinations accessible from Lyon to 32 across nine European and Mediterranean countries. And let's just say this new route has some serious appeal for sun getaway enthusiasts.

Alghero, the perfect destination between beaches and dolce vita

If you haven't discovered Alghero yet, get ready to want to book a ticket within the next five minutes! Two flights a week departing from Lyon

Volotea will operate this new Lyon-Alghero route twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Over 13,000 seats are offered on this route, with tickets already available for sale.
