According to a study by the Happn app, Lille Flandres is officially the train station with the most crushes in France. In other words, if Cupid had to choose a TER line, he would definitely make a stop here.

As Valentine's Day approaches, Happn has teamed up with SNCF Connect to reveal the train stations where singles cross paths the most. The result? Lille Flandres tops the list, followed by Lyon Part-Dieu and Marseille Saint-Charles.

According to their survey, 43% of singles have already imagined a love story with someone they met on a train. And it’s not just in their heads: 29% say they’ve already met a crush at the station or on the train. In short, you might have walked right past the love of your life between connecting trains!

If you want to maximize your chances, keep in mind that Sunday is the day when encounters skyrocket at Lille Flandres. Maybe the chill weekend vibe helps travelers relax... or perhaps,It's just the effect of a slightly nostalgic weekend that boosts the connections.

And if love's train doesn’t stop at your station, Happn has also listed the favorite spots for singles on the go. In Lille, the top spots include: La Citadelle for a romantic stroll; Le Parc du Héron, perfect for nature lovers; L’UGC Ciné Cité, because a good romantic comedy always does the trick & Le Palais des Beaux-Arts, for the most cultured (or at least, those who like to pretend).
