Step 1 (July 5): Lille Goes Yellow!

This is THE event that Lille has been waiting for. On July 5, the best cyclists in the world will compete around the capital of Flanders for an explosive first stage. The program includes an epic passage over the cobbled coast of Cassel, a climb up Mont Noir, and a thrilling final sprint on Liberty Boulevard at the foot of the Citadel for this Lille loop.

But the celebration starts on July 3 in Lille, with a super lively Fan Park (BMX shows, games, fun activities) at République Square and the presentation of the teams at Grand'Place. Little tip: come in yellow to show your support for the Grande Boucle and enjoy the electrifying atmosphere!

Good to know :

Enhanced transportation (metro running until 1:30 AM on July 5th), V'lille stations gradually closed starting July 1st, many streets closed to cars (Esplanade, Boulevard Vauban, Grand’Place). Opt for the metro, tram, or bike (special parking available with 1000 spots on Quai du Wault).

Stage 2 (July 6) : Lauwin-Planque > Boulogne-sur-Mer, punchers in the spotlight

This stage kicks off with great fanfare from Lauwin-Planque, passing through the famous Gayant festivities in Douai. Punchers will be thrilled with the tough finish in Boulogne-sur-Mer, featuring climbs at 15%! Get ready for a festive and sporty atmosphere!

Don’t miss out: activities all day in Lauwin-Planque, meet the giants in Douai, and a spectacular finish near the Opal Coast.

Stage 3 (July 7): Valenciennes > Dunkirk, between Mines and Sea

Valenciennes makes its grand comeback to the Tour after 34 years! The riders will cross the mining basin, climb the hills of Flanders via Cassel, and finish with a breathtaking view in Dunkirk, facing the sea. Get ready for an exciting coastal sprint!

Must-sees: Valenciennes with its lively podium from noon, the warm atmosphere in Raismes, and an energetic Fan Zone in Dunkirk.

Step 4 (July 8): Amiens opens the road to Normandy

Final regional stage: departure from Amiens to Rouen. Perfect for a last dose of cycling and to enjoy the beauty of Picardy's heritage before heading West.

In Lille, everything is set for you to enjoy it to the fullest!

To make the celebration unforgettable, Lille transforms for three whole days. From July 3rd to 5th, the city welcomes you with a special transportation plan: enhanced metro service, extended trams, altered bus routes, restricted traffic, and bike parking available throughout the city.
