Incredible but true: in Belgium, in Bokrijk, there is a cycle path submerged in a lake. Its little name? Cycling Through Water! Its concept is quite unusual but really cool because it allows you to pedal while being submerged at water level. Inaugurated in 2016, it was awarded by Time magazine in 2018 by ranking it among its favorite places in the world.

2 - Along the ruins of the castles of Dinant: the most historic
Not far from Lille, about a 1-hour drive away, lies Dinant, a charming medieval city. Here, you can take a bike ride of about 18 km along one of the most beautiful paths in the region. You can stroll along the ruins of the old fortresses for a true return to the Middle Ages, as well as travel along the former railway line of the Molignée Valley. The ride ends next to the Maredsous Abbey. Plenty to keep you busy for the day!

In the same region as the first one, Limburg, there is also a tree-top cycle path that allows you to pedal high up in the trees at around 10 meters high.
