Big Fernand: the gourmet burger of Lille
So okay, Big Fernand is a chain. BUT (in capital letters), it's so good that we can't blame them. At their place, you don't just eat burgers, but you savor hamburgés. Their ingredients are fresh, their recipes are succulent, and their welcome is really fun. Aside from the traditional "Big Fernand", we recommend the "Barnabé", more regional, made with maroilles and braised endives. To accompany all of that, definitely go for their freshly made fries deliciously seasoned with spices. It may be in the fast food spirit, but it's worth a visit!

And many of you voted, with a total of 3000 votes. In the end, the Award for the best burger was given to... Père & Fish and their 100% fish burgers ! Here, you can taste burgers made with prawns, salmon fillet, or even octopus ! Absolutely amazing!

The Address: Lille's XXL Burgers
It's no coincidence that The Address serves us delicious burgers on Rue des Bouchers in Lille. However, in the kitchen, they've traded blood-filled meat grinders for spinach knives. Yes, at The Address, the burger is meant to be gourmet. Spinach sprouts, pancetta, St Nectaire cheese, sweet mayo sauce, honey-roasted camembert, red onions, Comté cheese - all gourmet ingredients that reveal themselves in every bite. And as an accompaniment, not frozen fries but garlic sautéed potatoes served in a small jar. A delight for the eyes as well as the stomach! As a bonus: the wine list is fabulous.
