Welsh, you know that thing with orange cheese and bread, which according to Wikipedia is more like: "Welsh, also called Welsh rabbit or Welsh rarebit, or sometimes Welsh rarebit, is a Welsh dish made with melted cheddar (originally, they used Chester, which is now hard to find)". Right.

So we put on our Jack Bauer glasses, styled our hair like Caruso in "CSI" and then we investigated. After tasting 4 of them in 3 days, we had trouble walking and a bit of a stomachache, we admit. So with the team, we decided that we needed to find some Welsh pros, guys who can tell you the origin of a cheddar just by sniffing the rind.

So we got lost on the internet, the dark web, the "Guide du Routard" and Cuisto TV, and then we stumbled upon THE guys, the ones from the Welsh friends group. We had finally found our mustard bread stars. Our Clark Gable of cheese.

These guys don't mess around, they've tried all the welsh dishes from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, so we've selected 4 for you to create a little top melted cheese list. Even if the Georges V isn't ranked by the Amicale, we still have to point out that it's really worth it!

Let's eat!

"Traditional French and regional cuisine, entirely made from fresh and 100% homemade products. Homemade fries with a salad to share, not shown in the photo. Homemade mayonnaise. Mustard country bread, a nice slice of ham, aWell-cooked cheese... Welsh original, nice find!"

The Smoking Barber

Address: 69, rue de la Monnaie
Price: €14
Rating: 8/10, 9/10, 8.5/10 and 8/10

"Good presentation, not too greasy... It's really delicious. The only downside? I can't taste the beer enough to my liking. The fries are homemade and very good. I definitely recommend it."

The Island Bar

"The welsh has a nice appearance, not greasy, perfectly cooked egg, creamy yet slightly firm cheese. Overall good taste but perhaps a bit too mustardy. The ham is not processed and the country bread is well soaked. For mustard lovers, it's an excellent value with its homemade fries and caper mayo."

La Petite Table

"Excellent! Not oily, light even, airy. Delicious homemade fries and impeccable service! Honestly, if we had to nitpick, I would say serving it hotter would make it even better."
