When we talk about Japanese cuisine, we immediately think of "maki", "sushi" or "sashimi". And yet, the really good Japanese restaurants delight us with their gyozas and especially their yakitoris! And honestly, we challenge you to find a single person on this planet who doesn't like yakitoris... But here's a question for you this afternoon: where are the best yakitoris in Lille?

Just so we all agree: Yakitori = absolutely delicious sweet and savory little skewer.

Sushi Soba:

Here, around 5 different yakitori recipes! From classic chicken or meatballs to a more original recipe: salmon carpaccio, melted cheese, and teriyaki sauce! It's 5.50€ for two pieces!

Côté Sushi:

Falling in love with this Japanese restaurant that puts a twist on Peruvian cuisine. Here, you can taste the salmon Nikkei yakitoris with Peruvian sauce. A delight! The skewers start at 6€ for two pieces.

Samurai: The largest selection of yakitori is clearly here. Chicken, beef, salmon, mushrooms and even tuna! There are even yakitori gyozas! Can you believe it?

Kozmo: We are probably at one of the best Japanese restaurants in Lille. We love its modern fresh food, either crispy or with more cheese! The yakitoris here are really good. Choose from chicken, beef, cheese!

Club Trotter:

We love the delicious combination of chicken with peanut sauce and coriander! The dishes are prepared by Baan Suan. A real culinary journey in a really cool spot!

And then, even if the cards change regularly, we must note Aoyama and Izumi who are truly excellent Japanese and who can suggest Yakitoris on the menu that are to die for!
